Meet the Team

	Larry Moss has been in the Auction and Real Estate businesses for 35 years. He is a licensed auctioneer in Illinois and Indiana. Larry and the Moss Auction Team conducts approximately 30 to 50 auctions per year, consisting mainly of farmland, agriculture equipment, heavy equipment, commercial property as well as household and antique auctions. These auctions have been conducted in Vermilion, Edgar, Douglas, Coles, Clark, Dewitt, Edwards, McLean counties in Illinois and Vigo, Vermilion, and Park counties in Indiana. The auctioneer-appraiser is also a liquidator for U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Larry is a Realtor-Associate with Continental Real Estate in Paris, Illinois. He is the manager of a 2,500-acre grain and livestock operation in partnership with his brother. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1959 with a B.S. Degree in Agriculture. Larry has served on numerous boards and positions connected to the agriculture world. He is an Approved Appraiser for the Illinois Farm Development Authority.
	Matthew Moss graduated from the Reppert School of Auctioneering in December of 1998 and is a licensed auctioneer in Illinois and Indiana. He has been working his father’s auctions as a ring man for many years and is now actively engaged with his father in preparing and conducting their auctions. He is responsible for building and maintaining the Moss Auction Team web site, along with preparing, advertising, and promoting the Team’s auctions. Matthew is a graduate from the University of Illinois in 1992 with a B.S. in Animal Science. He is involved in the family farming operation and is a breeder and trainer of Clydesdale show horses. He is also an elected Township Trustee for Edgar Township.
	Nick Avenatti is a graduate of Reppert School of Auctioneering in August of 1999 and is a licensed auctioneer in Illinois and Indiana. He is a grain and livestock farmer in partnership with his family. He is a member of the Paris Young Farmers, which is where he first became involved with the auction business at their annual consignment sale.

The Moss Auction Team is capable of handling any size of Auction for a one individual owner or an Auction for multiple owners. Their team can put together an advertising campaign that can cover the Midwest for all types of Auctions. They can put together fliers/sale bills of any kind that can include a wide range of sizes, the use of color pictures, and personal design.
